BACKGROUND:
On April 19, 1988, the Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution authorizing the Director of Parks and Recreation to accept donations to the Department in the amount not to exceed $2500 in personal property and $1000 in monetary donations. The resolution also suggested that the Director submit a quarterly report to the Board listing the donations received and their value as estimated by the donor.The Report of Donations which details donations in the amount of $8,984.46 is attached.The Department of Parks and Recreation appreciates the generosity of its donors and recommends acceptance of donations.
