BACKGROUND:

Pursuant to NRS 237.090, a Business Impact Statement (BIS) was prepared for the proposed ordinance to correcting clerical errors in Clark County Code Section 13.04.070 in Tables 108.2.6(2) and Table 108.2.6(5). Notice of the proposed rule was provided on January 22, 2026, through publication, website posting, and direct notification to stakeholder organizations. A fifteen (15)-day public comment period was provided, during which three (3) responses were received.

The BIS concludes that the proposed ordinance will not impose a direct and significant economic burden upon a business and will not directly restrict the formation, operation, or expansion of a business.

Staff recommends approval of the BIS pursuant to NRS 237.090.
