BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606330-23, for Hacienda Avenue Rehabilitation, Rainbow Boulevard to Decatur Boulevard & Four Seasons Drive was advertised on February 22, 2023 and opened on April 18, 2023. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for improvements on Hacienda Avenue from Rainbow Boulevard to Decatur Boulevard ; Four Seasons Drive from Las Vegas Boulevard to Haven Street; Haven Street from Four Seasons Drive to Mandalay Bay Road; and Mandalay Bay Road from Giles Street to Haven Street, in Clark County, Nevada. The Work will generally consist of improvements including sidewalk ramp reconstruction to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) current standards, traffic signal modifications, detector loop installation at signalized intersections, installation of pedestrian flashers for the existing school crossings along Hacienda Avenue at Sorrel Street and Duneville Street, sewer line removal and replacement on Hacienda Avenue, utility adjustments, pavement reconstruction efforts including removal and replacement of base material in areas, removal and replacement of plantmix bituminous surface in areas, and mill and UTACS throughout project limits, permanent striping and signing, the addition of median islands, removal and replacement of damaged sidewalk and curb and gutter, installation of ITS conduit, fiber optic cable, splicing, and pull boxes, and other necessary appurtenances required to make a good, complete, and serviceable project.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 240 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
