BACKGROUND:
The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) approved funding for the Orchard Detention Basin project (No. PW.F000714) on its Master Plan and annual Ten-Year Construction Program.
The Board of County Commissioners previously approved fourteen supplements to the interlocal contract for various phases of this project, including, but not limited to, an increase of funds for design, right-of-way acquisition, environmental mitigation, an emergency action plan, re-design of the levee to extend it north of Charleston Boulevard, and adding a line item for entity design labor costs. The attached Supplemental No. 15 to the interlocal contract will extend the term from June 30, 2021 to June 30, 2026, for the subject project.
This project is identified on RFCD's Ten-Year Construction Program for Fiscal Year 2020-2021. RFCD approved the supplemental contract at its meeting on March 11, 2021.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the supplemental contract as to form.
