BACKGROUND:

The purpose of this Agreement between the FAA and the Clark County Department of Aviation (CCDOA) is to provide funding for the second phase of an airspace feasibility assessment for the proposed SNSA. The work will be completed by FAA's consultant, MITRE Corporation’s Center for Advanced Aviation System Development.

On December 6, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners authorized funding for the first phase to determine the technical feasibility of developing airspace and flight procedures to serve SNSA. The second phase of the assessment will further define the conceptual airspace and procedure design developed during the initial Technical Feasibility Assessment.

This Agreement has been reviewed and approved as to form by the District Attorney's Office.
