BACKGROUND:

On September 10, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1225 for the Starr Avenue between Las Vegas Boulevard and Bermuda Road project (Public Works No. PW.R245AFT) on its annual Capital Improvement Plan from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension Funds. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on October 6, 2020.

The Board and RTC previously approved four supplementals to Interlocal Contract No. 1225 increasing total funds for engineering and right-of-way for the project.

Supplemental No. 5 to Interlocal Contract No. 1225 reallocates funds by increasing right-of-way by $200,000, and decreasing engineering by $200,000. The current total contract value for the subject project is $1,165,000. The time of performance remains effective until June 30, 2025, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the fifth supplemental contract at its meeting on May 23, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the fifth supplemental contract as to form.
