BACKGROUND:
On December 21, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved a pre-qualification list to be used to select professional services providers for the period of January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023. Wallace Morris Kline Surveying, LLC (Limited Liability Company) was selected from the pre-qualification list category, [Services] Surveying - Land Surveying, to provide land surveying and aerial mapping services for the proposed Special Improvement District No. 164 project.
County staff negotiated the attached professional engineering services contract with Wallace Morris Kline Surveying, LLC. The contract describes the services to be provided and stipulated terms. The time of performance is effective to April 1, 2023, unless time extensions are granted.
Wallace Morris Kline Surveying, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
Pursuant to the Nevada Revised Statute 332.115(1)(b), contracts for professional services are not adapted to award by competitive bidding and, therefore, are exempt from the bidding requirements.
The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the contract as to form.
