BACKGROUND:

Pursuant to NRS 237.090, a Business Impact Statement was prepared for the proposed ordinance to annualize the permit-decal fee for service/delivery vehicles operating at Harry Reid International Airport (Airport).

On January 11, 2022, the Clark County Department of Aviation (DOA) sent notifications to the 44 companies impacted by this amendment. In addition, a copy of the notification and proposed ordinance changes were posted on the Airport's website. A 15-day public comment period was opened, and the DOA did not receive any questions or comments.

Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners determine that the ordinance described above does not impose a significant economic burden upon the service/delivery vehicle permit holders operating at Airport.
