BACKGROUND:

The application for TNT PAWN & JEWELRY located at 4352 W Cactus Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89141 was approved by the Board of County Commissioners on February 21, 2023.

The Department of Business License received a new application with a change of ownership for TNT PAWN & JEWELRY located at 4352 W Cactus Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89141 on November 20, 2025.  All required documents have been received and business license fees have been paid.  The business has obtained all public safety inspections.

The applicant's suitability investigation with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently pending.  The applicant has requested a temporary license to protect the goodwill, clientele, and assets of the licensed and operating business during investigation of the new or proposed owner.

Staff recommends that the Board approve a 90-day temporary license and authorize the Director of Business License to issue a permanent license if the suitability investigation is completed without any areas of concern.
