BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607234-24, for Contract for Hazardous Waste Disposal Services Countywide was advertised on September 18, 2024 and opened on October 9, 2024. The Bids received are as follows:
BIDS RECEIVED:
Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. (NBE)
GrayMar Environmental Services, Inc. (LBE)
Logistical Solutions, LLC (WBE)
Patriot Environmental Services, Inc. (NBE)
Determination of low bidder is based on the calculations of line items and scenario pricing.
This Contract is for hazardous waste disposal services Countywide.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through June 30, 2029 and includes a 3-month extension.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 20% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 5% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.065.2, if the governing body or its authorized representative has advertised for or requested bids in letting a contract, the governing body or its authorized representative must award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
