Eligibility Grant Temporary Staffing

Additional Comments:

The initial Contract amount was $12,801,600.  Amendment No.1 increased the Contract amount by $12,801,600. Amendment No. 2 will increase the Contract amount by $12,801,600, for a new total Contract amount of $38,404,800. Fund 2970.000 will be utilized to continue the contract without interruption; however, the expenditures are expected to be journaled to the emergency rental assistance grants as funding received by Treasury and the State.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On February 15, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606080-21 for Eligibility Grant Temporary Staffing to Protiviti, Inc. (LBE) in the amount of $12,801,600 for temporary staffing to assist with processing applications for the rental assistance program put in place to respond to individuals facing eviction due to the pandemic.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The term of the Contract was from January 1, 2022 through June 30, 2022.
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Amendment No. 1 extended the Contract term through December 31, 2022 to allow services to continue. 

Approval of Amendment No. 2 will extend the Contract term through June 30, 2023 to allow final grant review and completion of services.  The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.

The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
