BACKGROUND:

NRS 501.260 establishes a County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife consisting of five or seven members. The Clark County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife (CCABMW) is comprised of seven members who serve in an advisory capacity to the Nevada State Board of Wildlife Commissioners by soliciting and evaluating local opinion on matters relating to the management of wildlife in Clark County and the State of Nevada. Pursuant to NRS 501.265 through 501.275, the Board of County Commissioners appoints qualified individuals to the CCABMW who are citizens of Nevada and residents of Clark County. There is one vacancy on the CCABMW for a person who: (1) is a resident of Clark County; and (2) represents the interest of the general public of Clark County. Due to the resignation of Board Member Alexander Harper on November 4, 2025, who will be moving out of state,  two qualified individuals applied for the opening after it was advertised and posted on the County website from November 20, 2025, to January 6, 2026.
