BACKGROUND:

At the conclusion of a recruitment conducted by Clark County Human Resources, which included a series of interviews and a townhall event allowing employees to provide their feedback, Ms. Stacie Dastrup-Roberson has been selected as the successful candidate for the position of Director of Family Services.

Ms. Dastrup-Roberson has nearly 18 years of leadership in child welfare, public administration and organizational management with Clark County, and she will continue to be a valuable asset for Clark County in this new role. She has led and coached multiple teams including may of the 900+ staff members currently employed with Clark County Family Services (CCFS).  She has already established successful and productive relationships in the department, capitalizing on opportunities for integration, collaboration and retention.  Her expertise in compliance, corrective action, planning and operational improvements is critical for the Clark County programs within CCFS.  Her knowledge and experience will be valuable towards ensuring CCFS' programs align with federal and state regulations while delivering high-quality services to the community.

Pursuant to Clark County Code Chapter 2.40.100, I respectfully request that the Board ratify the appointment of Stacie Dastrup-Roberson effective May 23, 2026.
