2021 Account for Affordable Housing Grant Agreement

Additional Comments:

The initial Agreement amount to be disbursed to County was $1,834,108. Amendment 1 was to extend term through June 30, 2024.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On August 8, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award from the State of Nevada, Department of Business and Industry, Nevada Housing Division to provide the 2021 Account for Affordable Housing Trust Fund (AAHTF) funds to Clark County, to assist with qualified projects for the development of affordable rental housing and other needs.                       

Amendment No. 1 was approved to extend the Agreement through June 30, 2025.

Approval of Amendment No. 2 will extend the Agreement term through June 30, 2026.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into
interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
