BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Shooting Complex opened its doors in 2009. The Board of County Commissioners approved the first designated Shooting Complex Fee structure to accompany the opening. Since that time, and as appropriate per industry trends and review of comparative pricing, the Board of County Commissioners has approved periodic adjustments to said fees.

Justification is derived partially from manufactures' costs of supplies, higher electrical usage, and increased spending associated with staffing of the facility.

The proposed fee increases are minimal in amount, but represent a necessary adjustment in Shooting Complex fees to maintain revenue neutrality.

Staff recommends approval.
