BACKGROUND:
On August 2, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 604130-16 to Oracle America, Inc. (LBE) based on the department's approved budget as funds are allocated for the purchase of software, software maintenance, cloud services and hardware.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2021.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 provided an addition of programs (software), Schedule P, to the master agreement.
Amendment No. 2 expanded the definition of local government entities that are authorized to utilize the master agreement to specifically include the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Amendment No. 3 extended the Contract term through December 31, 2021.
Amendment No. 4 extended the Contract term through March 31, 2022.
Approval of Amendment No. 5 will extend the contract term through May 31, 2022. During this time a new Contract will be negotiated. The attached Amendment No. 5 document details the modifications involved
