BACKGROUND:

On August 13, 2020, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1209 for the Intersection Improvements Program:  Fiscal Year 2021 project (No. PW.R00223P) for design of intersection improvements at various locations throughout Clark County on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.

On September 15, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 1209 for this project.  The first supplemental contract increased total funds for additional design engineering services to cover a contract with the design consultant for the project.

The attached Supplemental No. 2 to Interlocal Contract No. 1209 changes the funding account for this project.  Funds for the project are now budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022.  The current total contract value is $3,000,000 for this project.

This project is identified on RTC's Capital Improvement Program.  RTC approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on February 10, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
