BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the design and construction of flood control improvements.  On March 12, 2020, Clark County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for construction of the Silverado Ranch Detention Basin, Collection and Outfall project (Public Works No. PW.FCLA38B).  The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on April 21, 2020.

RFCD and the Board of County Commissioners previously approved two supplementals to the interlocal contract decreasing total funds for construction, and extending the term of the contract for the subject project.

Supplemental No. 3 to the interlocal contract extends the term of the contract for the project to June 30, 2025, unless further time extensions are granted.  The current total contract value for the subject project is $19,500,000.

RFCD approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on February 8, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
