Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $450,000. Supplemental No. 1 increase of $150,000 revises the contract value to $600,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On July 1, 2024, Clark County entered into a professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. to provide engineering services for the Sloan Lane between Vegas Valley Drive and Ruby Creek Drive project.

Supplemental No. 1 to the professional engineering services contract with GCW, Inc. will provide additional design services to include design modifications of the storm drain to accommodate 100-year flows at the low point and to avoid the conflict with the previously relocated NV Energy underground conduit, structural design for a new inlet and outlet connection to the Las Vegas Wash Channel, and post design and construction support services. The time of performance remains effective to December 31, 2026, unless time extensions are granted.

GCW, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
