BACKGROUND:
On September 23, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605923-21 for Electronic Poll Book and Voter Registration System to KnowInk, LLC (LBE) in the amount of $12,531,439.52 for a new poll book and voter registration system.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through September 30, 2022, and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are 2 renewal options remaining.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 25% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No.1 provided additional hardware and licenses, executed by I.T. under their delegation, attached hereto.
Amendment No. 2 provided an additional 300 poll pad units, including licenses and annual maintenance, executed by I.T under their delegation, attached hereto.
Approval of Amendment No. 3 will provide for an additional 100 units, including licenses and maintenance. It also includes a hardware and software price list for future purchases. The attached Amendment No. 3 document details the modifications and costs involved.
KnowInk, LLC currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
