BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved and budgeted funding for the Harmon Avenue between Pecos Road and Boulder Highway project in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund, Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2022.

The attached Interlocal Contract No. 3011 allocates funds for construction for improvements to include pavement rehabilitation, Americans with Disabilities Act assessment and replacement of substandard facilities, storm drain, traffic signal improvements, repair of damaged facilities, lighting upgrades, signing upgrades and replacements, and other appurtenances necessary to construct a complete and functional project.  The time of performance is effective to June 30, 2027, unless time extensions are granted.

This project is included on the adopted RTC Capital Improvement Plan.  RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on March 10, 2022.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
