The total Agreement award is not to exceed $200,000 should all renewal options be exercised, with increased price adjustments included.
BACKGROUND:
This Agreement is for the temporary housing of inmates at the City of Henderson Detention Center for those who cannot be housed at Clark County Detention Center. The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:• The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2027, and includes the option to renew for 2 one-year periods.• Includes the option to increase the award as calculated using the Department of Labor's Consumer Price Index (CPI) for All Urban Consumers, U.S. City Average, not seasonally adjusted, for the proceeding 14-16 month period, for possible price increases for renewal terms.• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement with advanced written notice.The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
