There is no fiscal impact as it is a reclassification of cash within the Fund.
BACKGROUND:
On February 18, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners of Clark County, Nevada, approved the establishment of a revolving change bank in the amount of $3,000.00 for the Department of Parks and Recreation. The purpose of this change bank was to allow the Department to make change for cash paying customers. The Department of Parks and Recreation will soon be opening and operating additional recreation sites. The Department feels that it needs to maintain an increased amount of cash for the purpose of making change for cash paying customers at these new sites.Appropriate adjustments will be made to the general ledger.
