BACKGROUND: 

On March 7, 2022, Douglas County, Colorado awarded Master Commercial Card Agreement to JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (LBE).  This approval provides for a commercial card system composed of  accounts, card-use controls, and reports to facilitate purchase of and payments for business goods and services.

The following are the pertinent provisions of this approval:
                     The term of the Contract being utilized is from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2026 and includes                      the option to renew annually thereafter unless terminated.
                     Clark County is not under exclusive contract with JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and therefore, can cease                      purchasing services at any time.

This approval is in accordance with NRS 332.195.1, a governing body or its authorized representative may enter into a contract pursuant to a solicitation by (a) a governmental entity located within or outside this State with the authorization of the contracting vendor.

The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
