BACKGROUND: 

The proposed ordinance will amend Title 13, Chapter 13.08 of the Clark County Code, to adopt and amend the 2024 International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUIC). A BIS was prepared pursuant to NRS 237 and was noticed and advertised for public comment beginning September 22, 2025.  No comments were received during the statutory public comment period.

Staff recommends that the ordinance to amend Title 13, Chapter 13.08, of the County Code be introduced and a public hearing be set for December 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the proposed ordinance as to form.
