BACKGROUND: 

On March 6, 2024, Clark County (County) received a request from Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit (Habitat) to acquire a ±0.27-acre vacant parcel located on Pawnee Circle and Pawnee Drive addressed as 1694 Pawnee Circle, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89169 known as Assessor's Parcel Number 162-14-111-007, owned by the County (Property) by donation for affordable housing (Housing).  The Housing is required to be constructed within five (5) years of conveyance and will be available for lease or conveyance to qualified occupants or buyers whose gross median income does not exceed eighty percent (80%) of the area median income for a period of no less than fifty (50) years.

Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 244.284, the County may convey property to a non-profit without consideration for charitable or civic purposes.
