BACKGROUND:
On July 11, 2002, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 414 for the Russell Road between the Clark County 215 Beltway and Rainbow Boulevard project (No. PW.R02008S) on its annual Capital Improvement Program from Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax Funds.
On August 6, 2002, the Board of County Commissioners approved Interlocal Contract No. 414. Five supplemental contracts were approved to extend the contract term, decrease total funds, and increase total funds for construction, construction management, and in-house labor costs due to the bids coming in higher than anticipated for the project.
The attached Supplemental No. 6 to Interlocal Contract No. 414 changes the funding account for this project. Funds for the project are now budgeted in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund for Fiscal Year 2022. The current total contract value is $21,500,000 for this project.
This project is identified on RTC's Capital Improvement Program. RTC approved the sixth supplemental contract at its meeting on February 10, 2022.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the sixth supplemental contract as to form.
