BACKGROUND: 

NV Energy's services and related facilities are required in connection with the relocation of an overhead pole for the County to construct the detention basin at Assessor's Parcel Numbers 162-27-501-002, 162-27-510-001 and 162-27-502-001, generally located 1330 feet south of Tropicana Avenue between Paradise Road and University Center Drive.  All applicable work costs for relocating the facilities are reimbursable to NV Energy from the County.

The attached Rule 9 Line Extension Agreement No. 81273 with NV Energy is required in order to relocate the facilities.  The agreement describes the services to be provided and the stipulated terms as they relate to both the County and NV Energy.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the agreement as to form.
