BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved the Arterial Reconstruction Program - Various Roads project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from its Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2027.

Interlocal Contract No. 3304 provides funds for design of the subject project. The project includes arterial reconstruction on Owens Avenue from Pecos Road to Nellis Boulevard, Bonanza Road from Nellis Boulevard to Hollywood Boulevard, Sahara Avenue from Sloan Lane to Hollywood Boulevard, and Spencer Street from Wigwam Avenue to Dave Street. The term of the contract is effective until December 31, 2031, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Interlocal Contract No. 3304 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on September 10, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
