BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607917-26, for Annual Requirements Contract for Boiler Preventative Maintenance and Repairs Countywide was advertised on July 14, 2026, and opened on August 3, 2026. The Bid amounts are as follows:

* The Bid received from R F Macdonald is recommended for rejection due to a calculation error and was deemed non-responsive.
This Contract is for Boiler Preventative Maintenance and Repairs Countywide.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract is from date of award through September 30, 2027, and includes the option to renew for four (4), one-year periods and includes a 3-month extension.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 10% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 5% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.065.2, if the governing body or its authorized representative has advertised for or requested bids in letting a contract, the governing body or its authorized representative must award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Clark Welding and Fabricating currently holds a Clark County Business License.
