BACKGROUND:

On November 14, 2024, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved the Intersection Improvements: Buffalo Drive at Pebble Road, and Buffalo Drive at Wigwam Avenue project from its Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax for Fiscal Year 2025. The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on December 17, 2024.

Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 3195 provides additional construction funds to cover in-house labor costs. The term of the contract remains effective until December 31, 2029, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Supplemental No. 1 to Interlocal Contract No. 3195 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on December 11, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
