Description:

Interlocal Agreement between Moapa Valley Fire Protection District and Nevada Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Care Financing and Policy for Emergency Transportation and Ground Ambulance Services

The total Agreement award is in the amount not to exceed $2,882,812.50

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Agreement is for the State of Nevada to fund the emergency transportation and ground ambulance services to eligible recipients under Title XIX program within Moapa Valley Fire Protection District.
                     
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
                     The term of the Agreement is from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2028.
                     Includes the District’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
