BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to NRS 237.090, a Business Impact Statement (BIS) was prepared for the proposed ordinance to amend Title 22, Chapter 22.16 of the Clark County Code. Notice of the proposed rule was provided on March 11, 2026, through publication, website posting, and direct notification to stakeholder organizations. A fifteen (15) day public comment period was provided, during which zero (0) comments were received.
The BIS concludes that the proposed ordinance will not impose a direct and significant economic burden upon a business and will not directly restrict the formation, operation, or expansion of a business.
Staff recommends approval of the BIS pursuant to NRS 237.090.
