BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 606145-22, for Naples Outfall Storm Drain was advertised on April 7, 2022 and opened on April 28, 2022. The Bid Amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for project improvements including construction of an outfall storm drain for a future detention basin located on the Department of Aviation (DOA) owned parcels (162-22-401-003 and 162-22-401-004). This outfall begins on the east side of Paradise Road south of Naples Drive, within another DOA owned parcel (162-22-307-003) and continues east along the south parcel line until it enters University Center Drive. This storm drain will be located within University Center Drive from that point and will continue north to merge with Tropicana Wash, just south of Flamingo Road. The improvements will generally consist of site clearing, scarification, removal and disposal of asphalt, aggregate base, curb, gutter, sidewalk, fencing, gate, removal of sanitary sewer pipe, removal and disposal of obstructions, reinforced concrete box culverts, storm drain pipes, manholes, dry utility relocations, reroute sanitary sewer lines, reroute waterlines, and pavement replacement, pavement markings and other necessary appurtenances required to make a good, complete and serviceable project.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 270 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
Las Vegas Paving Corporation currently holds a Clark County Business License.
