Amendment No. 1 will increase the Contract amount by $26,467, for a new total Agreement amount not to exceed $839,354.50.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On July 15, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 607444-25 for HMIS Administration to Washoe County in the amount not to exceed $812,887.50 for shared funding between Clark  County and Washoe County to pay for the Homeless Management Information (HMIS) System, which is operated as a client data system of homeless persons and services they have received. County will bill Washoe County accordingly.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:

                     The term of the Agreement was from April 1, 2025, through June 30, 2025, and included the option to                      renew for 6, one-year periods.  There are 5 renewal options remaining.
                     Includes the County’s option that either party may terminate for any reason upon giving thirty (30) days                      written notice to the other party.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for a change in number of annual licenses.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
