BACKGROUND:
NV Energy wishes to enter into an agreement with Mount Charleston Fire Protection District ("District") for the purpose of performing or providing Fire Stand-By services. The District will provide resources when NV Energy determines that high fire risk conditions exist and/or upon request for services. All services provided by the District will be compensated as described in the agreement. The District will be responsible for submitting invoices to NV Energy for expenses incurred, as described in the agreement.The agreement between NV Energy and the District will commence from the date of acceptance and will expire after three (3) years, unless terminated earlier by either party, by providing thirty (30) days written notice to the other party.The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the Agreement as to form.
