BACKGROUND:
On July 7, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) approved the allocation to the City of North Las Vegas to receive $929,107.00 for housing related services including, but not limited to, assisting non-profit agencies to acquire, construct and/or rehabilitate rental housing units, assisting owner-occupants to rehabilitate their homes, and assisting first time home buyers through the Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 will extend the Agreement term through June 30, 2026.
This recommendation of the award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
