BACKGROUND:
On December 21, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners approved a pre-qualification list to be used to select professional services providers for the period January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2023. Wallace Morris Kline Surveying, LLC (Limited Liability Company) was selected from the pre-qualification list category, [Service] Surveying - Construction Staking - Minor, to provide construction land surveying services on the Karen Avenue Storm Drain Improvements between Maryland Parkway and Flamingo Wash project (Bid No. 605933-21).
County staff negotiated the attached professional services contract with Wallace Morris Kline Surveying, LLC. The contract describes the services to be provided and stipulated terms.
Wallace Morris Kline Surveying, LLC. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
Pursuant to the Nevada Revised Statute 332.115(1)(b), contracts for professional services are not adapted to award by competitive bidding and, therefore, are exempt from the bidding requirements.
The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the contract as to form.
