The initial Contract amount was $288,805 annually. Amendment No. 1 increased the contract amount by $43,800 annually. Amendment No. 2 will increase the Contract amount by $48,720 annually, for a new annual Contract amount of $381,325 and a new total Contract amount of $3,027,966.97 should all renewal options be exercised, with increased user requirements included. |
BACKGROUND:
On November 20, 2018, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of Bid No. 604934-18 to NLS Grounds Management, LLC (NBE) in the amount of $288,805 annually to provide landscape and ground maintenance services at various areas throughout the unincorporated Las Vegas Valley.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from date of award through June 30, 2019 and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There is 1 renewal option remaining.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 10% based on possible increased user requirements for the renewal terms and approved budget appropriations.
• Included the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
Amendment No. 1 added locations requiring landscape services Countywide.
Approval of Amendment No. 2 will provide for additional locations requiring landscaping services Countywide. The attached Amendment No. 2 document details the modifications and costs involved.
NLS Grounds Management, LLC currently holds a Clark County Business License.
