BACKGROUND: 

This Competitive Bidding Exception is for the purchase of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) hardware, software, data storage solutions, and ongoing professional support services to replace the aging computer and storage system that supports critical functions throughout Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).  This strategic upgrade is integral to LAS' capacity to support security, life safety, and operational systems. 

Zunesis, Inc. (Company) is an authorized provider for HPE goods, services, and network solutions under the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) Cooperative Purchasing Agreement, Nevada State Participating Addendum no. NASPOVP NV-8346-E.

The term of the approval is through delivery and installation, which is anticipated to be complete within six months of the date of award.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(g), hardware and associated peripheral equipment and devices for computers; (h), software for computers; (i) the maintenance and support for: (1) hardware and associated peripheral equipment and devices for computers; and (2) software for computers; and  NRS 332.195.1 (c) a governing body or its authorized representative may enter into a contract pursuant to a solicitation by a cooperative purchasing organization, and is therefore exempt from competitive bidding requirements.

Company currently holds a Clark County Business License.
