BACKGROUND: 

This Contract is for annual subscription to regional big data mobility analytics and transportation safety software platform with StreetLight Data, Inc. (LBE).

A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because StreetLight Data, Inc. is the only provider within this software market that offers both big-data transportation planning analytics and Highway Safety Manual-based safety analysis in a single solution and same dataset and network geography.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
•                     The term of the Contract is from Effective Date through October 31, 2027 and includes the option to                      renew for 2, one-year periods.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause or default and suspend the Contract with advanced                      written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(h), the competitive bidding process is not required as the item to be purchased pertains to software for computers.

The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
