Adjusting Services for General Liability Claims

Additional Comments:

The total amount of the Contract award is dependent upon the number of liability claims received.  To date, the Contract amount is $1,293,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On June 16, 2020, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605646-20 for Adjusting Services for General Liability Claims to Carl Warren & Company of Nevada.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

•                     The term of the Contract was from date of award through June 30, 2021, and included the option to renew                      for 4, one-year periods. There are no renewal options remaining.
•                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for 2 additional one-year renewal options through June 30, 2027, and revises the service costs.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Carl Warren & Company of Nevada currently holds a Clark County Business License.
