BACKGROUND: 

On July 26, 2020, Clark County (County) acquired 1850, 1900, 2000 & 2030 E Flamingo Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119 known as the Greystone Campus (Campus). The County previously leased space within the Campus and subleased to the State of Nevada on behalf of the Divisions of Welfare & Supportive Services (Sublease). The Sublease has expired and the parties desire to enter into a new Lease Agreement and clarify the square footage of occupancy. 

The terms of the Lease Agreement shall be for a period of five (5) years retroactively commencing on July 1, 2023 and terminating on June 30, 2028 with two (2) five (5) year options to renew for ±8,050 sf of usable office space and ±1,564 sf of common area for a total of ±9,614 sf of reimbursable space. DWSS shall pay a monthly amount of $2,400 semi-annually as determined by Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). The County shall provide for all maintenance, utilities, and normal services except for telephone & internet. The Lease Agreement shall be approved substantially as to form.

Pursuant to NRS 277.050, the Board of Clark County Commissioners (Board) may lease County-owned real property to another public agency without consideration and without advertising for public bids on such terms as authorized by the Board after holding a public hearing at which objections by the public may be heard. The public hearing shall be set for August 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
