BACKGROUND:
This Competitive Bidding Exception is for the purchase of, and the installation, configuration and consulting services for Rubrik data recovery software and hardware from Trace3, LLC (Company).
Company provides IT strategy, solutions, and services to a variety of public and private organizations. This Rubrik purchase will include the appropriate hardware to support the backup and protection of enterprise data, including backups for on-premise environments, databases, and active directory services. It will also provide the Universal Cloud License to ensure ability to backup workloads in the various cloud repositories such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
The term of the approval is for three years from the completed installation. The three-year term amount shall not exceed $1,148,845.52.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115(1)(g), hardware and associated peripheral equipment and devices for computers; (h) software for computers; and (i) the maintenance and support for hardware and associated peripheral equipment and devices for computers, and software for computers; and is therefore exempt from competitive bidding requirements.
Company will obtain the required Clark County Business License prior to issuance of a purchase order.
