BACKGROUND:

On August 2, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners approved a professional engineering services contract with R2H Engineering, Inc. to provide professional engineering services for the Jones Boulevard between Blue Diamond Road to Windmill Lane project.  Effective March 31, 2018, R2H Engineering, Inc. was acquired by Horrocks Engineers, Inc., and began operating as R2H Engineering, Inc. d/b/a Horrocks Engineers, Inc.

The Board previously approved two supplemental contracts with R2H Engineering, Inc. d/b/a Horrocks Engineers, Inc. to extend the contract term and increase total funds for additional design services for the subject project.

The attached Supplemental No. 3 to the professional engineering services contract with R2H Engineering, Inc. d/b/a Horrocks Engineers, Inc. increases total funds for additional design special services, and extends the time of performance until June 30, 2026, unless further time extensions are granted.

Horrocks Engineers, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
