BACKGROUND:

This Special Improvement District (SID) project provides for the maintenance of the landscape improvements along Las Vegas Boulevard between Sahara Avenue and Mandalay Bay Road.  Due to increasing annual costs, the County desires to increase the aggregate maximum amount of assessments that may be annually imposed within the District to $1,313,323.08.

Nevada Revised Statute (NRS) 271.385 requires the Board of County Commissioners conduct a public hearing to hear and determine written complaints, protests or objections to the proposed, actual assessment roll for SID No. 97B.

The District Attorney’s Office has reviewed and approved the resolution as to form.
