BACKGROUND: 

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds for the design and construction of flood control improvements.  On October 10, 2019, Clark County and RFCD entered into an interlocal contract for design of the  Searchlight West - Highway 164 project (Public Works No. PW.FSEA02B).  The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on November 5, 2019. 

RFCD and the Board of County Commissioners previously approved one supplemental to the interlocal contract to increase total funds for design for the subject project.

Supplemental No. 2 to the interlocal contract extends the term of the contract for the project to June 30, 2026, unless further time extensions are granted.  The current total contract value for the subject project is $740,500.

RFCD approved the second supplemental contract at its meeting on February 8, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the second supplemental contract as to form.
