BACKGROUND:

Pursuant to NRS 288.200(8), the following is a discussion of the fact finder's recommendation report regarding the collective bargaining agreement between Clark County and the CCDU.

On January 30, 2025, the parties submitted their dispute to an impartial fact finder pursuant to NRS 288.200. The positions of the parties and findings and recommendations of the fact finder are outlined in the non-binding recommendation by Robert M. Hirsch, Arbitrator, on April 16, 2025.

Of the agreement, Article 22 Longevity and CCDU's proposed new article titled "Salary Schedule Parity" were the items in dispute.

Attachment I contains the fact finder's findings and recommendations.

Attachment II  is the CCDU Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total and annual cost and/or savings of the recommended language changes for one hundred forty-seven (147) impacted CCDU positions.
