BACKGROUND:
This Agreement is to provide a judicially supervised program which reduces crime by promoting defendants' recovery from substance use or mental health disorders which contributed to their criminal behavior.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:
• The term of the Agreement is from date of award through September 30, 2024.
• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement with advanced written notice.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
