BACKGROUND:

The Clark County Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds to design and construct flood control improvements. On March 12, 2026, RFCD approved an interlocal contract for construction of the Blue Diamond Wash Railroad Channel between Rainbow Boulevard and Buffalo Drive project. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on April 21, 2026.

Supplemental No. 1 to the interlocal contract will decrease construction and construction management funding to match the bid amount. The term of the contract remains effective until June 30, 2030, unless time extensions are granted.

RFCD approved the first supplemental contract at its meeting on September 10, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
